Well it's 2006 on the East Coast - even if the clock on this site is wrong!
Happy New Year to all my fellow EOz'ers.
May your New Year be safe, full of new gadgets & toys, tours and trips.
Don't spend too much of it working...
See you on the track!
Dave

If we all agreed it'd be boring and none of us would be here....

What a New Years Eve too by the way!
Midnight in Shepparton 30°C &
Bendigo 34.1°C, though
Hopetoun &
Mildura take the prize with a midnight temp of 35.8°C & 35.5°C respectively.
Reference:
BOM Observations for Vic
Though it will show you what ever temp is now when you look, but if you click on the town name link you'll get the history for the past 48 hours or so.
Might call for another can...

Happy new year to everyone,
and yes some of us do have to work, I have to be here because they pay me lots of money(its amazing what a bloke will do for $12.50 hr) otherwise I'd be at
home in bed with the ceiling fan on flat out.
Anyway all the best for the next year.

Athol,
Had that problem earlier on tonight but managed to swing an early knock off. All the best and don't stay there any longer than you have to.

Have a good one Dave and all other EO people too. Be nice to get some rain to settle the dust at the moment and by the look of the radar we may get some too. Just a bit.
Cheers all

Best Wishes to you all. Thankfully it has cooled down here considerably, only 35 at the moment. Yesterday at 46 was just too hot for this old fart.

Don't spend too much of it working...
Yeah right.
So far this year I have spent 6 hours sleeping and 4 hours at work and 1 hour trying to shake myself awake so I sould get to work. I have 7 hours of work to go before I get to go
home.
As for the weather it is currently 42 here in the
Hill. A cool change would be lovely but tomorrow is forecast for 40 plus again
Now for the
bright side. Early tomorrow morning I set off for
Ballina for the start of a month wandering down the NSW coast. When I get back I will have spent 1 day at work and 31 days on holidays for the year. The difficulty is mainitaining that ratio for the whole of 2006.
I'll keep my eyes open on the track and hope to see you too Dave.
Happy New Year
Duncs

It would be good if you could keep that ratio going.
That makes 12 days of work a year sounds good eh.
You could even cosider doing them in a row just to get them out of the way.
All the best
Eric
