Well it's been a effort to get the new truck ready , but a couple of midnight runs in the garage and it's finaly ready to roll. You forget how much effort it takes to get a car set up , till you buy a new one and start all over again. The problem is , that you want it to have as many goodies as the last lol .Anyway it' looking like a real 4by now , so time to get away on the family brake . If anyone is going to be around Port Stevens , Ill be in the black hundred series , TUF100 , come up and say Gday , also looking forward to a couple of beach runs.

be safe all and enjoy whatever your doing , looking forwad to catching up again in late jan.

maby because you dont know how to build one ??? lol

Nothing wrong with the hungy mate . I am not to fussed about the front diff gears , as there going in the bin for diffrent ratio. In the hundred they changed the pitch in the gears to make them quiet'r for the Toorack tractor knobs .

4wds are a tool for me I try to leave them as standard as possble as I averge huge ks per year. Just upgrade the suspension to Bilstiens. I have had 2 100s now and both have proven unreliable. The first n\a diesel did a gear box and my current T\D blew a front diff on an insignificant creek crossing on the Cape with 6 punters on board. I have been driving Toyotas for over 30 years, each model is nicer to drive but the tuffnes and reliability is gone. You cant even park a 100 series under a mango tree any more as the falling fruit dents the panels I have spent more money repairing 2 100 series in 2 years than I spent on 80 series in 15 years. $70k plus vehicles should be reliable without spending extra money to make them so. Cheers Rob

Funny how as I read this post Eric, I got to Des' post and he said it for me. Nurse the baby and hope it will live up to Dean's expectations of a cool truck..
