Does anyone know the current road conditions, please? I realise the
Birdsville races has just finished and wonder whether the road has been chopped up? Also, how are road conditions to
Haddon Corner? Appreciate any updates.

I have not been there this year but I was there the week after the races a couple of years ago.
The roads to BV are usually extra good in the run up to the races and are still quite good afterwards.
If it had rained recently then you could have a problem

I traveled the
Windorah-
Birdsville road about four weeks ago in a Pajero (not towing anything) and it was rather rough in
places. I found the most comfortable sped was around 80kph. Getting caught behind road trains doing 40kph was the worst part.

Rob J8 ... Seal it ? Its QLD , the only money for roads is in the SE Corner round the kingdom of Brisvegas ......Qld Dept of Main Roads spend $5million per Km where out west regional councils do roads [ sealed @ road train weights ] for $175,000.oo per km ......
