You're spot on Rowdy. This shot is taken from the little path that is an off-shoot from the main track around the point.
Saw dolphins and a sea-lion there on a beautiful day, and Ros then walked down to Windy Harbour.
Lovely place.

Half way there Jim.

It's Meath Gardens park in East London, taken last year. The flag is to remember King Cole, a member of the first indiginous cricket team to play in London. 10 years before the Australian cricket tours.

King Cole died while on tour. It is quite interesting. Normally the park is quite green as you would expect but with the drought last year it looked more like outback NSW

Well, I guess no one said it had to be in Australia .......

BTW London population is more like 8.7 million, LOL

If you are ever passing the area, it’s well worth the time to drop in and even if you do the short walk, it would be better if you had your van in tow.

Have you been to the Flinders Ranges before?

It is one of South Australia’s top tourist destinations and can highly recommend it.

Yes, Stephen we have been to the Flinders Ranges before many years back now & most of our earlier trips were always a bit rushed because we had to fit them into school holidays, so we couldn't see everything.
Even spent 4 days in Leigh Creek Hospital..... but that's another story.......
I intend going again to catch up with what we have missed. We just returned from a trip to Arkaroola & along the Oodnadatta Track & surrounds. A favorite of ours.
We have spent a lot of time in SA over the years. Along all the Tracks, Gammon Ranges, Eyre Peninsula etc.
It's one of my favorite states to visit.

Death Rock andKanyaka Waterhole
It's off the Quorn-Hawker Road, past the Wirreanda Creek Bridge about
33 kilometres north of Quorn towards Hawker.

And I will be checking it out next time I'm up that way .....

PS I was Just watching a video on YouTube of Mike & Margie Leyland following the Old Ghan Route & they visit this site.... What a Coincidence !
