Taking my wife up to see her friend at
Grenfell next weekend (girls Weekend).
Where is there a good spot to
camp for a couple of days in the area (+ or - 100 klms) in 4x4 motor
home.

Hi Duck
Suggest you
check out Weddin Mountain National Park which is not far from
Grenfell. We camped there a couple of years ago. It's a great place with plenty of room,
toilets, picnic tables and great walks. You could possibly have it to yourself. We chose Ben Hall's
Campground. Have a look at the National Parks' website for plenty of information.
The mountain range is seen from
miles away and for years as we made frequent trips from
Canberra to
Forbes and on, I wanted to visit it. Finally we did and it did not disappoint!

Duck,
You can
camp at the bottom of the main street near the railway station.
Grass,
dump point, access to water etc.
And if you like an old beer walk up to the pub at the top of the
hill in the main street.
Cheers,
Jim
