What is the difference between the regular Oztent range (the RV range) and the Oztent Eyre?

Hi I asked the same question in bcf and I was told the eyre was built lighter so as to make it cheaper. And basically that was it!

Different fabric would seem to be main difference.
Oztent is rip stop poly-cotton blend, Eyre is polyester.
Might save money but not much weight. Specs I saw for same size was only a kilo difference.
That suggests the frame is the same.
Cheers.

Would be worth paying a little more for ripstop, in a good wind the RV tent in the square, non aerodynamic shape would be under some stress, and polyester will likely come to grief eventually.

Thanks. Surprisingly there is very little (none that I can find) information on the differences.

Pretty sure the Eyre comes with a fly as standard and is only guaranteed waterproof if the fly is used.
