On our Diamantina expedition in June we found a gold nugget on a chain at Georgia Bore. We are sure it is of great value to the person who lost it. We handed the nugget and chain in to Police at Wiluna, so if you are the owner, its your lucky day!!

Well done You!

There are many who wouldn't have been so honest. I hope the lawful owner comes forward.

Good thing is if it isn't claimed - it will be returned to you.

Cheers

Anthony

I trust the owner gets the message it has been found and handed in.
My better half found a nice gold neck chain in a carpark in Subiaco about 7-8 yrs ago.
It's a top Italian gold brand and it weighs 19 grams, and it's 18 carat, so it contains 14.25 grams of gold.
She handed it in to the police, who couldn't find the owner, so she got it handed back to her.
We tried advertising it was found, looking for "lost" ads, and never got any answer, nor did we find any "lost" ad for it.
Quite amazing that someone could lose a neck chain that probably cost well over $1000 to buy, yet they never bothered to look for it, or advertise it as lost.

Cheers, Ron.

Good on you! You definitely qualify for the yay for the day. I hope the owner has the good sense to chase it up and not just give up. Cheers Toni
