Has anyone had a tear drop or Little Guy? It would be towed by the 2018 Subaru XV. I have never towed anything before. The main prerequisite is ability to move trailer and hook up to tow bar by myself. I am not very strong!

We have an elderly lady who owns a Gidget teardrop trailer. Seems to handle it very well all by herself. She has a Mazda CX 3

Hi Gerri.
Sons step-daughter bought a tear Drop made of wood and it leaked like a sieve.
Make sure whatever you buy it is waterproof.
Have not heard of a Little Guy
Cheers.

Hi again.
If you are going to spend some time touring, i would be looking at a small caravan
as climbing in and out of it will be come a pain and wet weather worse.
Look at small vans and then take towing lessons so that you are comfortable with towing.
Cheers.

For a lot of examples the camper trailer has got out of hand ........ some of these things weigh 2 tonnes and are attached to massive tents ..... REdiculous.

There are some light weight camper trailers out there that still stick to the original idea
There are also some very light popup caravans that can be easily handled.

The teardrop caravan, is more attractive than practical ....... for the weight and size there are far more practical and spacious light weight designs

cheers
