The price for the sort of cars that we need is horrific. For new ones anyway. I doubt that we will ever buy a new car again! I mentioned this to my Mum the other day who lives in Brisbane and can get away with buying something for around $20,000. Try buying a new work 4 WD ute these days or a wagon. Got better things to do with my money. Anyone got a nice Turbo 105 Toyota for sale? At the right price of course! Cheers Toni

Straight from the factory left hand drive .... factory does NOT do right hand drive as the 'market ' is deemed to small , ergo we pay a motza for conversion to r/h drive by 2nd-3rd party specialists ....

i know, that is s why i said straight from the factory left hand drive. I was making the point the difference between the cost of a factory standard, even in a location such as this, compared to what the cost in for a converted model.

Or, if some of you, like me, have budget constraints, go for a 2nd hand model. Got one from carfromjapan.com. They have very affordable prices. My garage shed costs more than the truck I got. Check out their Silverado here that only costs $8804 and will ship from Japan.

Amelia,

surprisingly a lot of ex Japanese vehicles actually find there way here at really cheap prices. And it doesn't make any difference whether left or right hand drive.

But to import to Australia as second hand and comply with licencing is a different mater.
