Can anybody advise what condition this section is in? 4wd, 2wd, rough or easy.

As far as I am aware it's all sealed and flat unless you look for by-ways which will still be flat but obviously subject to weather.

Hi Ivan
With a question like that, I would presume that you want to head up through Danggali and then further North?
If so the roads in that area are
well formed major station roads that are used on a daily basis.
Like all dirt roads, it will come down to when it last rained, which out that way has been some time ago.
There will be a good combination of road surfaces, from corrugations, sand to high speed, good quality dirt.
Just take your time and drive to the conditions, as there is some great country out there east of
Burra.
Cheers
Stephen

Hi Ivan,
Just take your time and he will have no problems at all providing it is dry.
We have been out there many times and you can drive a standard Ford or Holden Ute, with no problems at all.
I presume you know where to head out from?
If not, head out on Ral Ral Avenue in
Renmark and just then follow the signs to
Wentworth. About 40 minutes out of
Renmark, turn left onto the road signposted Danggali.
Cheers
Stephen
Just look for this sign and then your real journey begins

Hi Ivan
That will be no problems at all.
Around 6 kilomtres after crossing into SA after the SA / NSW
Border crossing, the Danggali turn off will be on your right hand side.
Seeing you are in the neighbourhood as such, it is
well worth the very small detour to visit Todd's Oblisk and the old Scab Inspectors Hut.
Cheers
Stephen
