 | ExplorOz Treks: View Offline
One of the frequent questions we are asked at ExplorOz is how to save and view all of the great content in the ExplorOz Treks pages when you do not have internet access. There's a simple trick that you can use, and that's saving a digital copy of a Treks page using the print function. Simply click on the "Print" button found to the right of the "Download Trek" button (next to the Facebook and Twitter symbols), then select either Microsoft XPS Document Writer for Windows Users, or Save as PDF for Mac Users. The advantage of using this Print function is that the page is then formatted for offline use, eg. all tabs are opened so that you can see all content including driving directions. This is a great way to complement the GPS files supplied via the "Download Trek" button (Members Only), with content relating directly to the Track and Waypoints supplied.

Here's some wildflowers to watch out for as you travel this winter:
Eucalyptus youngiana or Large fruited mallee is common in desert areas. Travellers along the Canning Stock Route, northern Simpson Desert around Batten Hill and around Maralinga are likely to see these small mallee trees with big pink, red or cream flowers followed by large flattened gumnuts. See Large Fruited Mallee).

 | Site Update - "My User Treks""My User Treks" is a new tab found on the main User Treks page which displays a list of all Treks that you have either; uploaded from a GPS/Map Software, created using our Driving Directions tool, or saved from EOTrackMe. These Treks are displayed on our new "leaflet" map interface, which is gradually replacing our old mapping engine throughout the site. From this tab you also have access to edit the Trek's name, add a description, and upload photos, making this the perfect way to document your trips.
