This Vehicle is staying at my location for a few nights, the owner showed me the left hand side cooking and BBQ and how it all works on fridge like roll out sliders. The right side is for Gennie, tools, etc all in drawers .

Iveco. Makes ya wonder why he even needs a caravan.

See heaps of vehicles similar to this being used as Pilot/Escort vehicles throughout WA. When they can be set up like that ya realise why.

The range of creative and sometimes OTT setups never ceases to amaze me. We really must start a page (a blog?) where everyone can contribute photos and stories of amazing rigs. This sort of goes beyond the DIY blog, but the concept of having a blog tag especially for great rigs and setups. ... umm ideas... create work for David....

Gee, here is proof that SWMBO rules! David has just created the new blog tag to make my suggestion possible - if anyone wants to use it, simply use the blog tag "Great Rigs & Vehicle Setups". Note - if you already have a blog suitable for this, you can add this new tag to an existing blog if you edit your blog.
Anyway, its just a great reference for people in the future - as these forum posts get overlooked over time, yet the blog tag will be easy for people to search if they want to find other people's pics and get ideas.

I spotted a Chevvy at the show and shine for the start of the Outback Challenge one year.

The guy had come across from the US to watch the Challenge and brought the vehicle for an extended tour.

Among other things it had a full cafe style coffee machine including cup warmer and an infra-red camera to spot wildlife on the road at night.

Apparently some of the creatures wandering onto roads in southern California is human and it causes a bit of a stir if you hit them with your bull bar.

Sorry I don't have pics.

I am currently in Bathurst CV Park. When I arrived there was an Iveco, similar to the one at your place Doug. It was set up as the tug for a fifth wheeler and had lockers down the sides for a bit of gear when doodling around without the mansion that it normally toes.
