my darling wife bought me a JACKAROO
CAMP OVEN from Kmart for $ 110.00.
-Gas oven with 2 burner cooktop, all nice and solid.
Just baked a twice cooked cheese souffle to see how it works; it is an absolute ripper!

its about 20kg and yes it does take up some space; but my teenage kids will be inspired again as they like their food.

That looks marvellous - especially with cheese souffles in it. It all goes to prove that camping is not about hardship! Lynne

That looks like a very useful kit. Is there enough space in the oven to
cook a roast?

Yes plenty of room for a roast...not for 10 or so people but a reasonably sized one....we have one of these and it is very good..we know of others who have them and they are also very pleased with the unit....cheers
