I am with TCIS and their claim to fame is unlimited mods and accessories as long as it's legal

I'm with GIO and as long as I let them know what's on the truck and it's legal they don't mind.
A mate has done a lot of mods - lifts, turbo, larger tyres etc and has gone to Shannons - no first hand experience though.

I tried to take out a policy with Allianz, but they declined due to the mods. Now with AAMI. After advising them about $10K worth of mods, my premium went up by a whole $33.00 per year.
Couldn't be happier....though I haven't needed to make a claim....yet.

Haven't claimed as yet.

Mate i had the same problem when I fitted a turbo & intercooler to my 92 diesel Hilux.
Back then Shannons wasn't interested,& found Suncorp the only people interested.

I'm with Elders and as long as you tell them exactly what you've done then it's no problems. Can't fault their service either

Be very careful, it is not their obligation to ensure that your vehicle is compliant to RWC & ADRs before accepting your premium, but in the event of a claim it will most certainly be yours!

Have found DGA Insurance brokers competitive and fine to deal with changes to specs.
