Hi all
Can someone tell me if there is a book that has stories about all the australian
explorers on land? trying to find one but seems there are alot, if anyone has come across one which is a good read please tell me .

Nigel, here are a couple of great titles:
1. Bush Tucker Man ( Les hiddins ), Tarnished Heros: Epic stories of bush survival. ISBN# 0 7333 0613 6.
2. Bush Tucker Man ( Les Hiddins ), Stories of exploration and survival. ISBN# 0 7333 0816 3.
I have both of these, very informative, i'm sure you will enjoy them.

Try the "Dig Tree" - a good read. Covers the story of Burke and Wills. Also if you can get your hands on them, there are 10x30 min videos called Peachs
Explorers. The series is avaialable from the ABC
shop but they want a rediculous price. If you have any contacts with a school you maybe able to borrow them from the library.
Also if you get to
Longreach - Stockman's Hall of Fame"- spend a few hours in the section that covers early
explorers.
