Campomatic Camper Trailer

I have a 1997 Weekender, which is the lowest spec.
Generally the Ranger is the top spec one, but there were lots of options that could be fitted to the various models, such as swing around pantry across the front, different suspensions as I have seen some with ALKO and most with independent.
AFAIK the Ranger has the battery, and porthole in the back, as well as drawers that can be accessed from the porthole.
The Weekender has none of this , no battery,no porthole.

Ditto pretty much to Phil's comment - we bought a new 2004 Ranger M3 (not long before the company went...er...got into 'difficulties' - bought by Trakshak as I recall)....a pity for the founders, because it was a great camper, built tough and performed well. As I recall, if we'd wanted to go up-spec from ours, we'd have had a HD boat loader and a few other bits - of no interest to us. Our Ranger M3 had independent trailing arm suspension, electric brakes, water tank gauges etc., large front wedge box, 2 jerry holders, 2 gas bottles, first class slide out kitchen, and plenty of first class canvas work. At the time, we nearly went Kimberley Kamper (probably an even better quality build), but the Campomatic had a lighter towball weight. Hope you find a good one and enjoy it.....the Campo's are very fast to deploy and pack away....ideal for outback travel.

Should be a welded # near the tow hitch , that will tell you year + # of built that year ,
They stopped manufacture in QLD @ Yatala in 2001 /2002 and moved to SA , quality then started to decline due to price constraints so some components were outsourced to China , next move only saw one model , the Ranger M3 , very few options for the last model as it was already top spec ,

Hi Kay, We have a 1998 Getaway Campomatic and we have just put new canvas on it as we are very happy with the Campomatic build quality.
