Travel update 29 April 2024
There was very high rainfall between Ilkurlka and
Laverton in the first half of March. .
Maralinga Tjarutja will stop issuing permits for travel along the
Anne Beadell highway in South Australia as a safety measure. The Anne Beadell, Connie Sue and Great Central (between Cosmo Newberry and
Warburton) in Western Australia remain closed because of flood damage. That will likely be the case for at least another month and quite probably longer.
